About Dr. Liz
After moving to the United States, Dr. Liz grew up in Louisville, Ohio. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from John Carroll University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio. She received a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at the Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio where she developed an interest in facial growth and development. She pursued that interest in Europe and earned orthodontic specialty certification from the University of Cologne in Germany. An additional two year residency at the University of Florida School of Dentistry resulted in her US recognized orthodontic specialty certification.
In 1991, she opened an office in Jacksonville for the practice of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. In 1997, she restricted the practice to orthodontics only.
Dr. Liz continues to be part of the University of Florida College of Dentistry as a courtesy clinical associate professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. Her hobbies include traveling (she is bilingual in English and German) , spending time with her miniature daschund, Meier, reading, and beekeeping. She shares her beekeeping passion with a former patient and every year the two get better honey yields!
She offers a well trained staff and is committed to the welfare of each patient. Her purpose is to create great faces with attractive, healthy smiles and make a difference in the lives of her patients.
